Player Biography


2007:

Repeated first-team all-MVC honors.  Averaged 12.50 assists per set, which ranked third in the MVC and 45th nationally.  Set Creighton record for career assists.  Named to Bluejay Invitational All-Tournament Team after averaging 12.67 assists, 2.56 digs, 1.00 blocks and hitting .300.


2006:

Team’s most-decorated player, she was an all-Tournament pick at all three regular-season events as well as a first-team all-MVC selection.  Also named MVP of the Holiday Inn Classic and Blue Raider Bash.  MVC Player and Scholar-Athlete of the Week.  Volleyball Magazine Player of the Month in the November issue.  MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team.  MVC Honor Roll.

2005:

Earned MVC All-Freshman Team accolades.  Named a Freshman “Rising Star” by CVU.com, one of only 15 players mentioned.  Named MVC Freshman of the Week (Oct. 17) after averaging 13.18 assists, 2.73 digs, .55 blocks and .36 aces per set in three road wins.  Earned All-Tournament Team honors at the SDSU Invite after setting Creighton team to hitting percentages of .495 vs. UC Riverside (Sept. 2) and .414 vs. Liberty (Sept. 4), two of the top four performances in school history.  Dean’s List.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was one of 12 finalists for the Andi Collins Award, given to the top senior setter in the country.  First-team Super-State pick had 990 assists while leading the Crusaders to the Class A state semifinals and a 28-12 final record.  A two-time all-Metro selection by the Omaha World-Herald.  Team went a combined 126-40 with four district titles with her as a four-year starter.  Owns Marian records for career aces (147) and digs (1,226) and season mark for assists (990).
