Congratulations to Johnston 18 National. They competed at the Colorado Crossroads Junior National Qualifier and finished in 3rd place and earned a bid to the National Tournament at the end of April.
They went 9-1 at the tournament and only lost three sets. The team defeated Extreme Mavs 18-1 in the first round of bracket play and then followed it by beating #1 seed AZ EVJ 18N1 Gilbert in the Elite 8 to win a bid and send them to the semi-final where they lost to Colorado Summit 18 Black. They finished their tournament by defeating Main Beach 18 Gold to take 3rd.
Congratulations on all of your hard work!
Forty-three boys attended the clinic on Feb 20. Boys came from Nebraska, Minnesota and Missouri as well as the Iowa boys.
The Grand View Men’s volleyball players and coaches ran the clinic. They had just come back from a 5 set match at Graceland the night before.
Thanks for all those who attended. I know many are looking forward to the March 5 Boys Clinic at Loras College in Dubuque. If you have not sign up do so now. Sign Up Form
